There will be a Positive Callover of all cases set down for the Sligo Personal Injuries List on Tuesday the 24th March 2026 on a Hybrid basis at 10.30 O’ Clock before Mr Justice O’ Connor to fix dates for the Sittings commencing the 5th May 2026. Please note that where there is no appearance by either side or matters are not in a position to proceed the Court may strike out the Notice of Trial or adjourn the matter generally with liberty to re-enter.

Please note in order to make any application we will require ALL of the below information;
- Date of accrual of cause of action in the proceedings;
2. Expected dates of compliance by all parties with O.39 (46) RSC (inserted by SI 391/1998);
3. The expected duration of trial;
4. Whether the hearing will be confined to an assessment of damages only;
5. Whether VMR facilities for an expert may be required at trial. (The default position unless otherwise sought at the call over is that all evidence at trial will be heard physically in Court)
6. Details of when and where any outstanding motion in the proceedings is listed so that it may be resolved before or during the sessions.

If you require us to attend on Counsel or make an application on your behalf you should forward your instructions to reach us no later than 1.00pm on Monday the 23rd March 2026. No instructions will be taken on the morning of the callover.
