Dundalk Personal Injuries List, (Sittings Monday 14th July 2025 to Friday 25th July 2025)

There will be a Positive Callover of all cases set down for the Dundalk Personal Injuries List on Thursday the 26th June 2025 at 10.30 a.m before Mr Justice O’ Connor to fix dates for the Sittings commencing the 14th July 2025. As noted in the Callover, where matters up to and including number 160 in the List are not ready to proceed or there is no Appearance by either side the case may be adjourned generally with liberty to re-enter

Pearts will be attending physically in Court on the day, if you require us to attend or make an application on your behalf you should forward your instructions to reach us no later than 1.00pm on Wednesday 25th June 2025. No instructions will be taken on the morning of the Callover.

When forwarding instructions please ensure to include all the following information;

  1. Date of accrual of cause of action in the proceedings;
  2. Expected dates of compliance by all parties with O.39 (46) RSC (inserted by SI 391/1998);
  3. The expected duration of trial;
  4. Whether the hearing will be confined to an assessment of damages only;
  5. Whether VMR facilities for an expert may be required at trial. (The default position unless otherwise sought at the call over is that all evidence at trial will be heard physically in Court)
  6. Details of when and where any outstanding motion in the proceedings is listed so that it may be resolved before or during the sessions.

Dundalk Personal Injuries List – Callover June 12

SITTINGS – Monday 8th July 2024 to Friday 19th July 2024

There will be a Callover of all cases set down for the Dundalk Personal Injuries List on Wednesday the 12th of  June 2024  at 11.00 a.m before Ms Justice Stewart to fix dates for the Sittings commencing the 8th July 2024. Please note as per the notice contained in the List, where there is no Appearance by either party the Notice of Trial may be Struck Out. The Registrar will sit at 10.30 to deal with Consent Orders only.

If you require us to attend or make an application on your behalf you should forward your instructions to reach us no later than 1.00pm on Tuesday 11th June 2024. No instructions will be taken on the morning of the Callover.
 
When forwarding instructions please ensure to include all the following information;
 

  1. Title and List Number of the action.
  2. The party for whom you act.
  3. When the matter was set down.
  4. If the application is on Consent of the other parties or on notice. (If on notice please advise the date on which they were notified of the application being made).
  5. If an order is being sought please set out what is to happen with the Costs.  
  6. If the matter is to be adjourned please provide full and detailed instructions of the reason for the adjournment.

 
Please note as per previous provincial Callovers, the Court will be reluctant to adjourn matters and a convincing reason for an adjournment will be required regardless of if the Adjournment is on Consent.
