In collaboration with Bureau Offices, The July Dublin, Poachers Drinks, iStill 38 and supported by the Irish Women Lawyers Association we are very excited to host our first (of many, we hope) Pearts Solicitor Socials.

Our expert panel of speakers, hosted by Niamh Wade Solicitor will focus on important topics surrounding women’s health, hormones, fertility journeys, loss, burnout, mental health and much more, with guidance and helpful tips on how to navigate working through these tough times, or how to assist employees trying to juggle it all.

This in-person event offers a fantastic opportunity to connect, unwind, and engage with fellow professionals in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. From the drinks to the foodie delights to the discussions, we hope it will be a memorable evening, with all attendees in with a chance to win a midweek stay in the amazing Wineport Lodge and other spot prizes on the night. Whatever your motivation for coming, we hope you will enjoy our inaugural Pearts Solicitor Socials. Please note, this is not a ‘lawyer only’ event. All are welcome, and we would especially like to see some men educating themselves too. We look forward to seeing you there! Please contact nwade@pearts.ie with any questions you may have.

The Race Was On!

Team Pearts took to the backstreets of D7 and the Phoenix Park along with over a thousand other legal professionals for the annual Law Society of Ireland Calcutta Run last Saturday.

From beaming sunshine, to beats, to BBQ it was a day filled with colour, positive energy and a lot of red faces!!! Well done to all of the organisers and everyone who participated in it in one form or another, and especially to our very own Ion who beat Sonia O’Sullivan’s time in the 10K run!

Here’s hoping all the fundraising, yet again exceeds all expectations for the well-deserving charities, namely the Dublin Simon Community and The HOPE Foundation. Keep reading →

VOTE FOR VALERIE!

A member of the Law Society of Ireland Council since 2009, and elevated to Junior Vice President in November 2024, Valerie is very keen to keep up her hard work, so here’s hoping you can help her to achieve that. She says;

“They say that time flies when you are enjoying yourself, and I would have to admit that my participation on the Law Society Council since 2009, has been amongst the most enjoyable and memorable time of my career, to date. This past year, I have had the honour of being the Junior Vice President of the Society, which role has given me many memorable moments and it has been my privilege to support our President, Eamon Harrington wherever needed.

I like to think that I have made, and will continue to make, a valuable contribution to its work and hope that you will vote for me and enable me to continue this for the foreseeable future.

Why vote for me?

  • Over the past 16 years, I have chaired and participated in many of the Law Society Committees and Working Groups and Task Forces. This work is both rewarding and inspiring and there is always something new to learn.
  • I am totally committed to working with the Profession and for the Profession. Through my work as Principal here at Pearts, I have come to understand only too well the difficulties being faced by so many Solicitors at the moment.
  • I believe in the need for good communication and if re-elected I would continue to foster better communication between the Profession and The Law Society.
  • You can be assured of a Council member who is available to listen and will always turn up, to represent you.

I have always been genuinely overwhelmed by the level of response that I have received when seeking support at election time and want to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all of you, my colleagues, for that.”
