There will be a Positive Callover of cases set down for the Limerick Personal Injuries
List on Tuesday the 1st April 2025 on a Hybrid basis at 10.30 A.M. before Mr Justice O’ Connor to fix dates for the Sittings commencing the 28th April 2025. As noted in the Callover, where matters up to and including number 202 in the List are not ready to proceed or there is no Appearance by either side the case may be adjourned generally with liberty to re-enter.

Please note in order to make any application we will require ALL of the below information;
- Date of accrual of cause of action in the proceedings;
- Expected dates of compliance by all parties with O.39 (46) RSC (inserted by SI 391/1998);
- The expected duration of trial;
- Whether the hearing will be confined to an assessment of damages only;
- Whether VMR facilities for an expert may be required at trial. (The default position unless otherwise sought at the call over is that all evidence at trial will be heard physically in Court)
- Details of when and where any outstanding motion in the proceedings is listed so that it may be resolved before or during the sessions.
- Whether parties agree to a trial date at the Galway Sessions beginning 7th July 2025.
If you require us to attend on Counsel or make an application on your behalf you should forward your instructions to reach us no later than 1.00pm on Monday 31st March 2025. No instructions will be taken on the morning of the Callover.
