N.B Ex-Parte applications in the Chancery List on Monday the 06th day of July 2020.
Parties are required to email the Registrar ( josephmcguane@courts.ie) in relation to all Intended Ex Parte applications intended to be made each Monday together with a soft copy of the papers for the Judge by 10.00 a.m on the morning of the application. Parties will be advised thereafter as to when the Court will be in a position to deal with them.
Practitioners are asked to note that when an Order for Discovery is granted a copy of the Motion (a WORD version of the document, not PDF format) on which the Order for discovery was granted must be e-mailed into josephmcguane@courts.ie
Practitioners are asked to note that any Motion the hearing of which is likely to exceed two hours can on request be transferred to the following Thursday in the Chancery List for fixing a date “[ FD] ”
DELIVERY OF MOTION PAPERS
A paginated and indexed booklet of motion papers, booklet of pleadings and booklet of Court Orders (together with a booklet of correspondence where necessary) is required to be delivered no later than 1pm on the Thursday preceding the date for hearing.
Delivery of such Motion Papers may be conducted via Post or DX or via hand delivery in an envelope clearly marked Chancery 1 List and placed in a box this box will be situated in a room adjoining the Principal Registrars Office on the First Floor of the Four Courts Building (overhead the Central Office) and Practitioners can only hand-deliver the Papers for Court between the hours of 09.30 a m and 1.00 p m ( Tues to Thurs only) due to staffing issues and this service will NOT be available on Mondays or Fridays.
Practitioners are requested to advise the Court of any Motion the hearing of which is likely to exceed 15 minutes.
N.B Parties must attend at their given time slot as there will be NO Provision for a Second Calling of the List as Social Distancing requirements have to be adhered to at all times.
