Wishing all of our colleagues a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Please note the office will close for the Christmas break at 1 pm on Friday 21st  December and will re-open on Wednesday the 2nd January 2019 at 9 am.

The Great Office Bake-Off and Coffee Morning in Aid of Hospice

The amazing aroma of freshly baked goods filled the office kitchen last Friday as aprons, whisks and sieves were dusted off for the Bewley's Coffee Morning fundraiser in aid of Hospice. From Malteser cakes, to baked cheesecakes to brownie's galore, it was a fine feast for all the staff.

The baking talents of the team were outstanding and while serious efforts were made to try and finish off all the delights on the day, it was simply not possible. However, it meant that we were able to drop the remaining treats over to the Merchants Quay homeless shelter, who were thrilled to be able to offer the tasty bites with the tea in the Night Cafe that evening.

Appeals to the High Court and Appeals to the High Court on Circuit

We draw your attention to S.I. 428 of 2018 which comes into effect on the 31st October 2018.  All Appeals from the Circuit Court to the High Court which are presented on or after the 31st October 2018 must follow the new format of the Notice of Appeal. See link to S.I. 428 of 2018 here.

Callover of Dundalk Personal Injury List on 9th November

The callover of the Personal Injury List of cases to commence at Dundalk on the 26th November will take place before Mr. Justice Barr sitting at the Four Courts, Dublin on Friday the 9th November.

The callover of the Waterford/Kilkenny Personal Injury List of cases to commence at Kilkenny on the 12th November for two weeks will take place before Mr. Justice Keane sitting at the Four Courts, Dublin on Wednesday the 24th October.
