Re: Statement of the President of the High Court 17th July 2020

Please see Statement of the President of the High Court dated 17th July 2020 which sets out the current position regarding the resumption of work across all divisions including the hearing of proceedings requiring oral testimony.

Please also note that the members of the High Court have agreed to sit in September in order to hear and determine applications and proceedings that were postponed due to Covid-19.

Re: Dublin Personal Injuries List

Consent applications for hearing dates in respect of the Dublin Personal Injury List will be taken by the Registrar each Friday commencing on the 17th July 2020. Where agreement is not possible applications on notice may be made by email and a date and time for a hearing (if deemed necessary by the Presiding Judge) will be notified. Pearts Participate in Inaugural Virtual Callover

Covid19 has forced businesses into re-thinking how they can conduct their work. The Courts are no different. The Courts Service implemented a number of changes to comply with Government health and safety guidelines, and they continue to adapt these procedures as restrictions ease.
