Consent applications for hearing dates in respect of the Dublin Personal Injury List will be taken by the Registrar each Friday commencing on the 17th July 2020. Where agreement is not possible applications on notice may be made by email and a date and time for a hearing (if deemed necessary by the Presiding Judge) will be notified. Re: Common Law Lists Consent Applications on Monday 13th July 2020 Regarding List of the 20th April 2020

A Registrar has been assigned to sit in a Court on Monday 13th July 2020 to deal with consent applications in respect of motions originally listed for hearing in the Common Law List on the 20th April 2020. Motions originally listed for 13th July 2020 will be dealt with on a future date to be notified. New Practice Directions in High Court

Please note the following new High Court Practice Directions which have recently been issued:

HC91- Practice Direction for all claims (excluding personal injury claims) in which oral evidence will be given

HC92- To enable personal injury actions to proceed in a manner which complies with public health guidance and to protect the safety of court users during Covid-19 restrictions the following practice direction will take effect from 13th July 2020

Re: POSITIVE CALLOVER OF THE DUBLIN PERSONAL INJURIES LIST ON WEDNESDAY 8TH JULY 2020

Following the Statement of the President of the High Court of the 26th June 2020, a positive callover of the List will take place remotely before Mr Justice Cross on Wednesday 8th July 2020 in respect of cases remaining in the Dublin Personal Injuries Lists For Hearing from the period 18th March 2020 to the 26th June  2020 (Approx 280 cases). Failure to attend the callover will result in the Notice of Trial being struck out.

Update Re Motions for the County Registrar’s List in Dublin on 10th July 2020

Further to the statement of the President of the Circuit Court Published on the 8th May 2020, and due to the current provisions of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A -Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) Regulations 2020, some of the Dublin County Registrar Civil Motions List from the 18th March, 23 March and 24 March 2020 will be listed for hearing in Court 27, Dublin 7 on  the10th July 2020 commencing at 9:30 AM in a staggered list.
