VOTE FOR VALERIE!

A member of the Law Society of Ireland Council since 2009, and elevated to Junior Vice President in November 2024, Valerie is very keen to keep up her hard work, so here’s hoping you can help her to achieve that. She says;

“They say that time flies when you are enjoying yourself, and I would have to admit that my participation on the Law Society Council since 2009, has been amongst the most enjoyable and memorable time of my career, to date. This past year, I have had the honour of being the Junior Vice President of the Society, which role has given me many memorable moments and it has been my privilege to support our President, Eamon Harrington wherever needed.

I like to think that I have made, and will continue to make, a valuable contribution to its work and hope that you will vote for me and enable me to continue this for the foreseeable future.

Why vote for me?

  • Over the past 16 years, I have chaired and participated in many of the Law Society Committees and Working Groups and Task Forces. This work is both rewarding and inspiring and there is always something new to learn.
  • I am totally committed to working with the Profession and for the Profession. Through my work as Principal here at Pearts, I have come to understand only too well the difficulties being faced by so many Solicitors at the moment.
  • I believe in the need for good communication and if re-elected I would continue to foster better communication between the Profession and The Law Society.
  • You can be assured of a Council member who is available to listen and will always turn up, to represent you.

I have always been genuinely overwhelmed by the level of response that I have received when seeking support at election time and want to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to all of you, my colleagues, for that.”

Farewell Jonny – See you in Court!

After around fifteen years of being an incredible team player, to say Jonathan Hanlon will be missed is a massive understatement!

While we are very proud and excited for him to take up his new position as a High Court Registrar with the Courts Service, and only but wish him well, we are still sad to have to say goodbye today.

His cheerful nature and willingness to help, together with his vast array of knowledge was hugely appreciated by all of us and no doubt by many of our colleagues around the country.

Best of luck Jonny, you will be great!

YAAAAY!

Welcome back Jurgita Nangle ! Having sadly had to say goodbye to her in February after five years of working with us, we were so thrilled (and flattered) when she wanted to re-join the Court Filings Team. I’m sure many of our clients and colleagues will also be delighted to be able to liaise with her again.

Her positive energy and hard-working ethic is much appreciated by all.
