Please note, the Courts Service have stated that due to Covid-19, the Restriction and Disqualification of Directors List scheduled to take place on the 8th March 2021 will not now take place.

Parties are advised to continue to check the Courts Service web site (www.courts.ie) and the High Court legal diary (http://legaldiary.courts.ie/high-court) for further updates.

Update Regarding the Master’s Court

Following the statement of The President of the High Court on the 23rd February 2021 the Master will not sit again until further Notice and that the sittings of this court will be reviewed on Monday 15th March 2021 and on a weekly basis thereafter. All matters currently before the Master are adjourned and will re scheduled. Listings will be updated following any revision in the level of Covid- 19 restrictions.

High Court Civil Jury List to Fix Dates Cancelled

Due to the continuation of public health measures as a result of Covid-19, the High Court Civil Jury List to Fix Dates scheduled for Thursday 4th March 2021 has been cancelled.

Parties are advised to continue to check the Courts Service web site (www.courts.ie) and the High Court legal diary (http://legaldiary.courts.ie/high-court – jury list section) for further updates on these lists and the date of the next List to Fix Dates.

Courts Service extend Covid-19 Level 5 protocols announced at start of legal term until 5 April 2021

 Following the Government announcement to extend current Level 5 restrictions, the Courts Service and the Judiciary have agreed to continue existing Covid-19 Level 5 protocols into the month of March 2021. The Courts Service and Judiciary will review the situation on 15 March 2021, taking into consideration Government and public health advices, as well as required lead-in times for a phased increase of Court business.

Covid-19 Notice: The District Court

His Honour Judge Colin Daly, President of the District Court has issued the following notice:

Due to the continuation of the current Covid-19 level 5 restrictions, the advice from NPHET concerning the projected rate of infection in the community over the coming weeks and other relevant Covid-19 information, the measures adopted by the District Court for the conduct of criminal, civil, family law and child care law from the 7th January to the 1st March 2021 will be extended to the 5th April 2021. These measures will be reviewed periodically according to public health and government’s advice.
