Due to the continuation of the current Covid-19 level 5 restrictions, the advice from NPHET concerning the projected rate of infection in the community for the coming weeks and other relevant Covid-19 information, it has been decided that until further notice civil work in the High Court will proceed subject to same limitations as were first imposed at the time of the 19th October 2020 level 5 lockdown. Those limitations were reimposed further to the directions of the President dated the 5th January and 23rd February 2021. The situation will continue to be reviewed on a weekly basis commencing Tuesday 6th April 2021 leaving open the possibility that current limitations may be reduced or removed before the formal end of present level 5 restrictions. Following the statement of The President of the High Court on the 23rd February 2021 the Master will not sit again until further Notice and that the sittings of this court will be reviewed on Monday 15th March 2021 and on a weekly basis thereafter. All matters currently before the Master are adjourned and will re scheduled. Listings will be updated following any revision in the level of Covid- 19 restrictions.

Practitioners please note, the Circuit Court Family Law Courts are dealing with Divorce and Judicial Separation motions on consent and will continue to do so until the end of the current term. From the 9^th of March 2021 the Court will also begin scheduling Domestic Violence District Court Appeals, and notification letters will issue shortly.

Due to the continuation of public health measures as a result of Covid-19, the High Court Civil Jury List to Fix Dates scheduled for Thursday 4th March 2021 has been cancelled.

Parties are advised to continue to check the Courts Service web site (www.courts.ie) and the High Court legal diary (http://legaldiary.courts.ie/high-court – jury list section) for further updates on these lists and the date of the next List to Fix Dates.

 Following the Government announcement to extend current Level 5 restrictions, the Courts Service and the Judiciary have agreed to continue existing Covid-19 Level 5 protocols into the month of March 2021. The Courts Service and Judiciary will review the situation on 15 March 2021, taking into consideration Government and public health advices, as well as required lead-in times for a phased increase of Court business.
