COVID-19 Update Re Examiner’s Court

Dublin Four CourtsPlease note, the Examiner’s Court List scheduled for Monday 22nd June 2020 has been cancelled, with all motions listed for that date now due to be heard on Monday 20th July 2020 instead. This is due to the reduction of suitable courtrooms as a result of public health measures put in place to limit the potential spread of Covid-19.
 Parties requiring a substantive order, or who need to make an urgent application, once an urgency can be established, are advised to email the Examiner’s Court Registrar at examinersmail@courts.ie. More information can be found on the Courts Service Website here.

Positive Start to Phase Two – The Postponed Chancery 1 List for the 23rd of March is now Confirmed for the 22nd of June 2020.

Practitioners should be aware that Consent Applications to the Registrar must be dealt with in advance of the 22nd of June as the Registrar will not accept Consent Applications on the day with the aim of minimising the number of people in Court.

RETURN DATES:

As of today’s date, Motions issued in the High Court Central Office are  being allocated the following return dates:

  • Masters Court is now the 6th October 2020
  • Common Law is the 13th July 2020

COVID-19 Update 11th May – RE: Common Law Lists

Due to the continuation of public health measures as a result of Covid-19, all motions in the Common Law lists from the 11th May 2020 onwards are adjourned generally with liberty to re-enter.

No date has been set for the hearing of these motions.

Parties are advised to continue to check the Courts Service website and the High Court legal diary for further updates on these lists.

Pearts continue to provide a scaled back Town Agency Service in line with the essential service guidelines set out by the Court Services while ensuring that we comply with all recent Government announcements and restrictions.

Our aim is to deal with essential/urgent work, as best we can. However, please be aware that our office hours may fluctuate from day to day and that we cannot guarantee that we will process your instructions on the day of receipt. Please note, our usual email address, agency@pearts.ie  is now being monitored.

For precautionary reasons access to our office is restricted to staff members only and items sent to Pearts by DX or Post will not be opened for two days after receipt and thereafter the work will be processed following the safety guidelines we have put in place.
