Practitioners please note, Practice Direction HC96 is revoked and Justice Mary Irvine, the President of the High Court, has issued the following Practice Direction HC 103 in relation to the Commercial and SID list in accordance with s. 11(12) and (13) of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020. This will come into effect from 1 February 2021. Please read about this change on the Courts Service website here.

The Courts Service have issued an important update regarding the continuation of level 5 protocols. Please read the statement here.

Following the Government statement that Level 5 restrictions will remain in place until the 5th March 2021, matters listed before the Master will now be automatically re scheduled on a four weekly cycle as outlined here on the Courts Service website.

The callover for the Waterford Personal Injuries list for the sessions commencing on the 22^nd February to the 5^th March 2021 will take place remotely on Thursday 4^th February 2021, before Mr. Justice Quinn.

The President of the High Court, Ms. Justice Mary Irvine, has stated that with effect from Tuesday 2nd February 2021 the High Court will be in a position to list a number of personal injury cases each day to be heard remotely using the Pexip platform.
