In light of the current Level 5 restrictions, public health guidance and the high incidence of the Covid-19 virus in the community and pursuant to the Notice of the President of the High Court Justice Mary Irvine in relation to the conduct of Civil Business in the High Court, all business of the High Court Family Law List that was scheduled for the weeks commencing the 8th 15th and 22nd of February 2021 and 1st of March 2021 has been cancelled.

Limited Remote Hearings for High Court Family Law Applications To Commence from 1st February 2021

New Practice Direction HC 103 in Relation to the Commercial and SID List:

Practitioners please note, Practice Direction HC96 is revoked and Justice Mary Irvine, the President of the High Court, has issued the following Practice Direction HC 103 in relation to the Commercial and SID list in accordance with s. 11(12) and (13) of the Civil Law and Criminal Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2020. Matters listed before the Master will now be Automatically Re Scheduled on a Four Weekly Cycle

Following the Government statement that Level 5 restrictions will remain in place until the 5th March 2021, matters listed before the Master will now be automatically re scheduled on a four weekly cycle as outlined here on the Courts Service website.

No action is required to be taken by practitioners or parties except to regularly access the Legal Diary and the Courts Service website for updates.
