Important Notice Regarding County Registrar Motions lists – Amendment to Notice of March 15th

The Courts Service have issued the following notice:
NB: Please take note of one amendment to the below notice of the 15th of March,  correcting a typo – the lists being heard on the 24th May 2022 should read  2nd May 2023 & 9th May 2023  (not 7th May 2023 & 9th May 2023 as previously stated)

To reduce the current waiting times for hearing dates for Civil Motions before the Dublin County Registrar, caused by the Covid-19 restrictions, the following will apply:

Galway Personal Injuries List Trinity Sittings (Monday 28th June 2021 to Friday 9th July 2021)

A positive callover of all High Court cases set down for Galway Personal Injuries up to and including Thursday 28th January 2021 (ending with list no 15569) will occur remotely on Tuesday 8th June 2021 before Mr. Justice O’Connor. Please see notice and list published by the Courts Service.

Please note that due to the complexity of information which the legal representative attending court must be able to confirm, we will not be in a position to move applications, other than striking out cases by consent.

NOTICE: High Court Business for Trinity Term 2021

Practitioners please note the important update which has been issued by Ms Justice Mary Irvine in relation to how the High Court expects to increase the type of work it will deal with between now and 31st July 2021.

Pearts staff are available and in a position to attend on any physical attendances, should you require us to do so.

UPDATE RE: Dublin Circuit Family Court Before the County Registrar

Please note the following notice from the County Registrar regarding the Family Law Motions List:

Further to the previous statement of the President of the Circuit Court and due to the current provisions of the Health Act 1947 (Section 31A-Temporary Restrictions) (Covid-19) Regulations 2020, and in anticipation of the easing of Level 5 Covid -19 restrictions, the Family Law Motions which were previously adjourned by the County Registrar, will be listed for hearing in Court 33, Ground Floor, Aras Ui Dhalaigh, Inns Quay, Dublin 7 (capacity 9 persons), commencing on Thursday 20th May 2021 and thereafter on Wednesdays during Trinity Term 2021. The lists will be staggered/ in time slots. The start times of all applications will be published in the Legal Diary.
